Short answer: Not well.

This was about as worst-case scenario as it could get for this little experiment, I guess.

As a reminder, at the beginning of the month I thought I’d wear a shirt for each Mets game until they lost while I was wearing that shirt in the hopes of hitting on a lucky shirt.

The Mets never really got a good winning streak going during the month, and they actually had an 8-game losing streak. (For a couple of those games I was out of the house for Reach the Beach so I did not wear 8 shirts in 8 days there.)

But here’s a little slideshow of all the shirts and how the Mets did.

I think it’s important to note that maybe shirts aren’t lucky and maybe the players’ fate lies in their performance on the field and not in what I’m wearing.

Or maybe I should have tried lucky pants.
