2025 Week 34 To-Do
This workout marked the halfway point of training.
I didn’t do a To-Do List last week.
If I had, I might have highlighted the fact that this past Wednesday marked the halfway point of this marathon training session for me.
In last week’s recap I mentioned that I feel equal parts ‘Wow, I already built up to 12 miles!’ and ‘There’s not enough time to get to 26.2!’
This feels similar, in that it’s like, “Wow, halfway through!” but also, “Man, after all this we’re only halfway there?”
But it feels like a pretty big milestone that I need to highlight in some way here.
Because up until now there were more days left until the marathon than days I had trained…but now that balance has shifted and we are getting closer and closer to race day.
This Week’s To-Do List
It’s Back-to-School Week in Framingham. I’ll have drop-offs to be responsible for until we get parking at school sorted out.
It’s a slightly more flexible work week so I might be able to get some Morning Running in this week, which is always my preference.
I made it through July and August now without putting together a calendar of meals…but it might be time to Make A September Menu now that school is starting and things are a little more structured.
Speaking of September, I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around this being the last week of August, and Labor Day falling so early in September. I don’t know what the To-Do item is here…I haven’t used my home planner in a couple of months - it’s a July to July calendar, essentially. So it’s been sitting there since July 13 - the last page I turned. I have less to plan without having to record and post videos for my class, and I am not doing enough freelance writing to merit planning things out. So I guess the item here is Evaluating Whether I Need A New Planner - I’m thinking probably not.
