2025 Week 19 To-Do

I wasn’t planning on getting too deep into painting again - it’s been really busy work-wise.

But last weekend we bought more white paint because I was running low and I figured better to have it when I ran out than to run out to the store again.

And then on Monday I had a few spare minutes and I started painting that part of the ceiling that hangs down…then I moved to the wall because I had a little bit of white paint left…but it was enough for me to also do the moulding at the bottom…and then I finished the can by putting a coat on a post.

So that was more than I intended - of course I had to do the second coat from the new paint can and then do the gray for the parts that were going to be gray - but it’s that much more done in the long run.

So that was a little unscheduled - here’s what I’m scheduling myself to do this week (with the caveat that maybe I’ll end up doing something else that will make me feel accomplished…like painting…I’d like to finish that wall this week too):

This Week’s To-Do

  • There’s a little Family Get-Together on Saturday that I’ll be going to with one of my daughters…

  • …and if I’m in New York I guess I’ll have to Go To My First Mets Game of the year.

  • I’m pretty set for the Summer Course, but that starts this week so I’ll have that on my mind, among my other work.

This Week’s May-Do

  • It’s been really busy and I’ve been having trouble getting out for many runs but I need to start stretching my runs out before the 10K in June. So I’m hoping I’ll get up to a 6-Mile Run this week at some point.

  • I got a new wall display that I’ll certainly tell you more about, but I have to put it up as part of the new-look downstairs. It involves drilling, so I’m dragging my feet a little bit. It’s likely this week I’ll Put Some Holes In The Wall and Hang That Up.

Last Week’s To-Do

  • I told you about the 5K.

  • Final Exams were done by Sunday, I’ll definitely have the new class 100% set up by tomorrow night.

  • We called my sister.

  • The anniversary was fine. Nothing special for this one.
