Strava 600
Here’s one last bit from the Reach the Beach weekend that provided a little bit of serendipity:
When I finished my 2.9-mile run on Saturday afternoon - the last of my 4 legs - I got a note after it uploaded to Strava that it was my 600th activity on Strava.
I don’t pay much mind to activities on Strava - and I’ve talked about it before with some of those Peloton badges earlier in the year…I do like the badges and seeing the numbers go up, but they’re kind of out of context.
What even is 600 runs? I know I’ve been running a lot the past couple of years - but I’m not in any kind of a competition with it.
It’s just a nice round number that’s kind of fun to see.
And I have hit other Strava milestones over the years that sometimes come after a Thursday evening run or some other random time on a regular ol’ run.
So it was nice that this big number came after one of my most eventful sets of runs in a while.
I don't have much else to say about it…it just feels like the type of thing that we’ve been noting this year, so it gets a post.
