Ironheart

I hope there are people out there who love Ironheart.

And I hope they spread the word far and wide.

I’m rooting for that show.

I don’t think it is a bad show.

I think it’s just that I wanted to like it a lot, and I only liked it a little.

It had a lot working in its favor as far as I’m concerned: Iron suit - that’s my favorite part of Iron Man! Chicago! One of my favorite cities!

And it had its moments - there are some cool things that I really liked from Iron Man that are kind of reborn in this character.

There were some good fight scenes.

But it just never clicked for me…and I didn’t like the way it ended at all.

So I’m heading into this writing on a negative note.

But part of the problem is I have high expectations, especially with these short-run shows (it’s only 6 episodes).

There have been a few Marvel TV shows I really really liked, and I keep waiting for each new one to be that good.

And this one was just OK for me.

I certainly look forward to seeing RiRi Williams in future Marvel projects the way she was introduced in Black Panther…But I did not feel like I was rewarded for the six episodes I watched here.

And let me be clear - it might have been great. People might have loved the way it ended.

I don’t know. I haven’t read what other people are saying.

But it wasn’t great for me.
