Most of the time AI is somewhat dumb.

I think it has a ways to go before it gets everything right.

Every so often there’s just a blatant mistake that gives it away and makes you realize, oh, a human didn’t do that.

I bring this up because sometimes the algorithm, as far as targeted ads and such, is way off….but sometimes it really nails it.

And the supermarket gave me a coupon recently (pictured, along with the products it discounted) that I couldn’t wait to use because it was exactly what I would buy for myself at full price.

So I was definitely going to buy it if you’re giving me $3 off two items:

S’mores ice cream.

Just last week I was reiterating to you how much I love s’mores stuff.

And whenever I have the option I’m buying ice cream that has s’mores flavoring - ‘Graham Central Station’ is one I’ve had at a couple of different ice cream shops that basically has all the same ingredients - chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers.

But rarely have I had s’mores ice cream at home.

The chipwich-style sandwich there was a disappointment - most of the ice cream was melty and, while it was a nice enough treat, it was disappointing as an ice cream treat.

I don’t know if I just got a bad box or if they’re all messed up and that’s why the store is liberal with the coupon, or what.

So I had high hopes for the ice cream to salvage this little experiment.

And it was good. But, to be honest, it was no Graham Central Station.

There is some ice cream that I can eat with zero repercussions…and there is other ice cream that causes a stomach ache.

I don’t know the difference - it’s always a bit of a roll of the dice.

Unfortunately, this Breyer’s ice cream was the stomach ache kind.

So, I still have another coupon for $3 off 2. I might use it again - maybe I’ll give the sandwiches another shot and see if I get a less melty pack.

But that’s about it - overall this wasn’t bad, but it didn’t live up to the high expectations I have for ice cream - if I’m going to suffer later, it had better be the best that I can have.

I’ll have to find myself some Graham Central Station that I can take home.
