2025 Week 20 To-Do
File photo of me at a dance recital a few years ago.
I’ve had this week on my radar for a long time because the Mets are at Fenway Park Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
The way baseball blackouts work is the app doesn’t show the Red Sox games to me since in theory I can watch them on a cable system here - it’s a dumb system that aligns with a viewing structure that people don’t use much anymore.
Anyway, I had designs on going to Fenway for all three games so I could watch the Mets, and then something came up with family or work all three days, so I’ll be going to a grand total of zero. Here’s what I will be doing:
This Week’s To-Do
I’ll try to go somewhere to eat Monday night to Watch the Mets-Red Sox On A Restaurant TV. I can’t commit to a trip to Fenway, but Monday is the only night I’ll be able to watch some of a game out. Kathy and I did this last year when the Mets and Red Sox played. Often I’ll struggle to find a place here playing a Mets game if they’re on national TV or something - but not when they’re playing the Sox!
A couple of kid events this week - Dance Recital for one daughter on Saturday, and Band Concert for another on Tuesday. It’s that time of year.
This Week’s May-Do
Expect More Painting to happen. I kind of unexpectedly painted all week this past week and I can get another part of the room done this week, probably.
I kind of took stock of what was hanging on the walls downstairs as I took them down to paint, and I’m re-evaluating. So I might Put Some Stuff Back On The Walls this week, and move other stuff elsewhere. I also, as you’ll read below, did not get around to hanging my new wall display yet.
Here’s how I did last week, and you can click here for more details about what I’m referring to below:
Last Week’s To-Do
We had a nice time with my family…
…and obviously a great time at the Mets game.
The summer course is off to a good start. Always a good sign when I start receiving assignments that everyone is logged in and seeing what I post.
Last Week’s May-Do
I did get out for that 6-miler. I also did 3 miles Friday afternoon. Starting to really think about Chicago training.
As I mentioned above, I haven’t gotten the courage up yet to drill the holes in the wall but I will get to this soon.
