2025 Week 42 To-Do

This doesn’t have much to do with anything but I liked the 100s across the board on my 100th day of playing Strands.

This is an odd week because for so long I’d been looking forward to the Chicago Marathon…

And now it’s over.

And - bam - here we are smack dab in the middle of October.

Well, past the middle of October, really.

So it’s time to find a new thing to look forward to on the calendar (the BAA Half is the front-runner) and, after being pretty singularly focused on Chicago for a few weeks, to get my head straight and think about all of the other things I have to do.

So here’s what’s coming up this week:

This Week’s To-Do

  • I think I’ll Get Back To Running in some form, whether it’s this weekend or some time next week.

  • Kathy’s away for a couple of days towards the end of the week so I need to Make Sure I’m Available For Pickups And Meals.

  • Really, after a while that was very much not routine, it’s Just Settling Back Into The Regular Routine.

Last week was chock full of stuff - I’ll recap below but you can click here for more detail:

Last Week’s To-Do

  • You certainly know I ran Chicago. (Check the previous few days of posts. No need for me to link to them.)

  • We went to the expo on Saturday morning. I controlled myself OK. Got some good freebies and I bought some more Feetures since they’re hard for me to get in the store.

  • We did get to the museum. It was awesome. I’ll be writing about it this week.

  • I was tired but we made it out Friday night and saw Matt and Kathleen Edwards. Worth it. I’ll probably write about that this week too.
