2025 Week 46 To-Do

Thursday featured a rare occurrence for me:

I had coffee in the afternoon.

If I have coffee in the afternoon it really messes up my sleep (I like to go to bed early).

But, if I want to stay up late for a game - say a Thursday Night Football game in which the Jets are playing - I need a little caffeine help.

So I got a medium coffee, finished it a little after 4pm (pictured), and made it to the end of the game.

Unfortunately, the Jets did not make it worth my while.

This Week’s To-Do

  • Saturday morning (maybe as you read this!) is almost like a choose-your-own-adventure - either I will be Recovering From Flu/Covid Shots or I’ll be Joining The Run Club for a run. The shots were a decision late in the week because I figured there’s nothing important on the horizon in case I get run down from the shots. So the originally planned run might not happen. But if I wake up Saturday feeling great, I’ll join the run.

  • Kathy found out about a Peloton Meet And Greet at the mall on Tuesday evening and I wasn’t going to do it with her but some friends of ours are going to go so we’ll make a night of it. I’ll probably end up writing about it. Seems like a good New Thing to do.

  • It’s time to Submit My Entry for the Boston Marathon bib lottery. Gotta get that in by December 1st, so I don’t want to waste any time with the holiday on the horizon.

  • Hey, it’s My Brother’s Birthday! If you are interested in doing something for him might I recommend streaming his music or buying an album or something. Here’s his website where you can explore further. You don’t have to go as far as I did last year and subscribe to his Patreon (I call it a Mattreon), but you could.

Didn’t have much to write about last week. Let’s see how I did, with a reminder that you can click here for more details about each of the entries:

Last Week’s To-Do

  • The Boston Half was a success, as you may have already read.

  • Turned out to just be a half day of work on Tuesday.

  • Another successful wall painting. I think I’ll just start counting the walls that are left. It’s seeming more and more manageable to finish…except for the high ceiling. We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.
