We had some weather this week.

It wasn’t as bad - at least in Framingham - as we were told it might be.

The girls had school on Tuesday, but I didn’t have to go to work because the school that was supposed to take the field trip canceled.

It was kind of wild, though, to go to work on Wednesday and see on the drive that the snow cover got progressively worse as I approached the line where the rain and mix turned to snow.

I’ll tell you this, though - it’s too early for it.

This is real January-February stuff. I don’t want to be worrying about it in December.

I hope it’s not a harbinger of the winter that lies ahead - it could really wreak havoc on winter training - not only the snow, but the extreme cold we had on Friday too.

We’ll worry about that another time. Here’s what we’ll worry about this week:

This Week’s To-Do

The Boston Marathon Bib Lottery is Sunday night. I’ll let you know how that turns out for sure…but I’ll also dive into it a little bit in tomorrow’s post.
I started watching Stranger Things this past week. I blew through season one. It’s very good. I’ll write about it. I will Continue Watching Stranger Things this coming week.
After a grueling 10 or so days it will be time to Pick My Daughter Up again at the airport…this time for a longer stay.
One More Coat for this round of painting - I’m not sure I’ll be doing much more painting before Christmas, but I need to finish the work I started last weekend - got a few more walls out of the way.

Final 2025 menu is set for the month.
I told you about Puzzle Mania this week.
I dropped off the leaves last week, and the storm knocked down a bunch more so maybe one more trip for drop-off?
I told you about running parkrun, and I planned to volunteer this morning but snow and ice did indeed force a cancellation.
Haha. See? I just dropped her off and now I’m picking her up again already.
