Sorry if you came here expecting to read more about the Chicago Marathon. I’ll get to it later in the week when I’m on less spotty WiFi footing than there is in the hotel room.

Instead, you’re getting this Bluey drawing I did.

I intended to do more drawing over the course of this year and this is one of the things I wanted to draw and it took a while.

Doing a little drawing was my self-care after the Mets season ended so disappointingly.

It’s not perfect - proportions are a little off, colors are a little off - but it turned out pretty well. (My drawings are a little like AI - it’s close, but there are little flaws that give away it’s not authentic.)

I’ll definitely be writing about the marathon, but I’m not sure when I’ll have the time with traveling home and being in the hotel and recovering and all.

And I’m also looking forward to telling you more about Bluey at some point in the next couple of months.
